At National Grid, we're at the heart of the energy transition, connecting millions of people to the energy they use every day. Behind every successful office, operational site and collaboration space is a workplace that's safe, compliant and built for success. Join our team as a Corporate Property Manager and be a part of something bigger—where your unique skills and passions can make a real difference. Together, we are superpowered.
We're looking for a Corporate Property Manager to join our team and play a key role in managing a portfolio of corporate sites, ensuring colleagues, customers and partners have exceptional environments in which to work and thrive. Based on your assigned region, you'll lead the delivery of facilities and property services, drive performance through our supplier network, and help create workplaces that are safe, sustainable and fit for the future.
This is based at our London office The Strand , where the requirement is 4 days a week onsite at the Strand and 1 day a week working from home . This role covers 3 properties in total, with 90% of your time managing The Strand, and some occasional travel to our Euston office and Bury St Edmunds .
Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At National Grid, we are committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace for everyone. So, if you’re excited about this role but your experience or qualifications don’t match the job description exactly, we encourage you to apply anyway. You might just be the right person for our growing business in this role or another one.
This is a hybrid working role from our Strand office with circa 4 days in the office. The closing date for this vacancy is Midnight 21 October 26, with interviews due to take place w/c 26 October 26 onwards.
Every day we deliver safe and secure energy to homes, communities, and businesses. We are there when people need us the most. We connect people to the energy they need for the lives they live. The pace of change in society and our industry is accelerating and our expertise and track record puts us in an unparalleled position to shape the sustainable future of our industry. To be successful we must anticipate the needs of our customers, reducing the cost of energy delivery today and pioneering the flexible energy systems of tomorrow. This requires us to deliver on our promises and always look for new opportunities to grow, both ourselves and our business. We celebrate the difference people can bring into our organisation, and welcome and encourage applicants with diverse experiences and backgrounds, and offer flexible and tailored support, at home and in the office. Our goal is to drive, develop and operate our business in a way that results in a more inclusive culture. All employment is decided on the basis of qualifications, the innovation from diverse teams & perspectives and business need. We are committed to building a workforce so we can represent the communities we serve and have a working environment in which each individual feels valued, respected, fairly treated, and able to reach their full potential.
