Contract Manager Luton Contract - 6 Months Salary £60.00 per hour Umbrella ARM has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Officer to join a fast-paced team at a Global Defence Company. The Role: Provide strategic and tactical oversight to a number contracts and bid activities. Drafting, negotiating and administration of complex terms and conditions of contract, working with Procurement counterparts to ensure appropriate flow through with subcontractors. Produce accurate and compliant customer pricing by applying the appropriate pricing strategy and model to cost estimates. Preparing proposals for submission to Customers in conjunction with the preparation of internal documentation required to obtain bid approval. Ensuring adherence to commercial and business processes. Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with colleagues and customers to deliver the value to the company. Managing own workload, highlighting areas of conflict or priority and effectively managing
stakeholder and customer expectations. Requirements: Can advocate at senior levels of an organisation Experience working with UK Government and international Contracts. Has a detailed understanding of business finance, profit and loss, margin and markup, escalation, and foreign exchange Identifies and understand commercial risks and how to implement mitigation strategies Has the ability to build effective and strong relationships with cross-functional colleagues, customers and suppliers Has Microsoft Office knowledge and application of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
