Oliver James are exclusively representing a leading UK insurer on a Reinsurance Actuary opportunity within its growing BPA team.

This is a transaction-focused role for a Qualified Actuary with longevity pricing experience who wants exposure to the full reinsurance lifecycle - from analysis and pricing through to structuring, negotiation and execution.

The Opportunity

You'll work across a broad range of BPA reinsurance activity, including:

• Pension Risk Transfer (PRT)
• Longevity swaps
• Funded reinsurance
• Back-book transactions
• Longevity pricing and experience analysis

The role is technically focused, with a commercial element. You'll work directly with reinsurers and alongside senior stakeholders, gaining exposure to live transactions.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Actuary with up to 5 years PQE
• Strong longevity pricing experience
• Strong technical and analytical capability
• Experience with cashflow modelling and large datasets
• BPA/PRT or wider reinsurance exposure is highly relevant
• Programming or coding experience is a useful additional skill.
