Senior Marketing Analyst

Manchester / Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Analyst to join a growing Marketing Analytics function, helping turn complex marketing data into meaningful commercial insight.

This is a senior, hands‑on analytics role working across the full digital marketing mix, including paid media, websites, apps, affiliates, SEO and other channels.

You’ll work closely with marketing, commercial and BI teams to understand what’s driving performance, identify opportunities for improvement and help shape smarter, data‑led marketing decisions.

Alongside delivering analysis yourself, you’ll play an important role in developing the wider marketing analytics capability, improving measurement approaches, establishing best practice and supporting the development of other analysts.

What you’ll be doing...

• Analyse performance across multiple digital marketing channels and identify trends, opportunities and areas for optimisation.
• Work closely with paid media and marketing teams to evaluate campaign performance and recommend data‑driven improvements.
• Analyse audience behaviour, segmentation and targeting to improve marketing effectiveness.
• Measure the impact of cross‑channel and 360° marketing campaigns.
• Help develop and improve marketing attribution and performance measurement frameworks.
• Combine marketing, customer, financial and product data to provide a broader view of business performance.
• Translate complex analysis into clear, commercially focused insights for senior marketing and commercial stakeholders.
• Support the setup and management of tracking parameters, conversion goals and reporting to ensure accurate measurement.
• Establish best practice across marketing analytics, including analytical standards, documentation, QA and peer review.
• Mentor and support junior analysts, helping develop technical capability and stronger data storytelling.
• Evaluate new analytics tools, data sources and measurement methodologies.
• Keep up to date with changes across digital marketing platforms and identify how these could impact performance and strategy.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll have strong experience within marketing analytics, ideally covering cross‑channel or full‑funnel marketing, alongside confident SQL and data visualisation skills such as Tableau. You’ll understand marketing measurement and attribution and, importantly, be able to turn data into recommendations that make sense commercially.

Experience with Python or R, advanced attribution modelling, statistical analysis and automation would be beneficial, but equally important is your ability to communicate effectively, influence senior stakeholders and help raise the analytical capability of the wider team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to remain hands‑on with data while having a broader influence on how marketing performance is measured and understood across a business.
