Adult ADHD Assessor - Independent Prescriber

Main duties of the job Deliver structured diagnostic assessments (history, impairment, co-morbidity, risk) and provide clear feedback and written plans. Conduct structured follow-up reviews to monitor treatment response, adjust care plans and ensure safe, effective long-term management. Initiate and adjust medication within local formulary; arrange/interpret baselines and physical health monitoring. Run brief titration contacts until stable; complete safe shared-care transfers to primary care (EPS and templates). Document contemporaneously; produce high-quality letters on the day; maintain accurate, auditable records. Present complex cases at the weekly MDT; contribute to audit, incident learning and quality improvement. Support induction, case discussion and day-to-day coaching for colleagues; uphold safeguarding, consent/capacity and information governance at all times.
