We are currently seeking a Bengali to English Translator to support a busy team based in Newham, East London .

This is an excellent opportunity for a fluent Bengali and English speaker who enjoys helping people, has strong communication skills, and is looking for flexible part-time work.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate verbal and written translation from Bengali to English and English to Bengali.
• Support meetings, appointments, and community engagement activities.
• Assist with translating documents, emails, and correspondence where required.
• Ensure information is communicated clearly, professionally, and confidentially.
• Build positive relationships with local residents and stakeholders.

About You

• Fluent in both Bengali and English (spoken and written).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Previous translation, interpretation, customer service, or community engagement experience is desirable but not essential.
• Local knowledge of Newham and the surrounding area would be advantageous.
