Role

A friendly and community-focused primary school in Wantage, Oxfordshire is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their learning support team. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychology graduate to gain valuable, hands-on experience supporting primary-aged pupils who require additional help in their learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Implementing effective behaviour management strategies
• Supporting the class teacher during lessons
• Building positive relationships with parents and carers
• Adapting and individualising activities to meet specific pupil needs
• Liaising with the SENCo and class teacher to provide feedback and monitor progress
