Marketing Manager at VC Backed Startup

The job hunting process is sh*t so we flipped it on its head. With Jumpstart, high-growth startup marketing roles find you.

If you're ready to own marketing strategy, lead campaigns, and genuinely shape a startup's growth, Jumpstart is for you.

How does it work?

• Top startup roles — get access to a curated list of marketing roles in the UK's most exciting startups. Hear back from your applications within days.
• Founders pitch to you — as a Jumpstarter once said, "you can't get vibes from a job description." Pre-recorded video pitches from founders bring roles & a startup to life so you can ensure it's a great fit.
• Connect with startups — we've made the job hunt a two-way street. You'll apply to roles and receive inbound interest from startups who want to speak to you.
• Interview support — access comprehensive training guides, receive individual interview support, and chat to Jumpstart alumni about their interview advice.
• Ongoing career growth — landing a role is only the start of your journey with Jumpstart. You'll join the Jumpstart community (the "best startup community in London") and gain access to all the tools you need to smash your role. Think mentorship, training & more.

On average, it takes ~4–6 weeks to land a role and you can participate in the programme whilst in full-time work.

The roles

The exact role depends on the startup, but as an early marketing hire you'll work closely with founders, have real budget ownership, and move fast. Expect to get stuck into everything from paid campaigns to product launches to SEO to email flows — strategy and execution, hand-in-hand.

Common roles on our marketing stream include:

• Generalist Marketing - work across all areas of marketing and shape the strategy from the ground up.
• Growth Marketing - use data and experimentation to identify and scale the highest-impact acquisition channels.
• Performance Marketing - own paid campaigns across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and TikTok and drive measurable revenue growth.
• Content Marketing - produce standalone assets that build brand and drive demand: website copy, ad creative, video, newsletters, blogs, and brand design.
• Social Media Marketing - own and grow social channels across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X; plan and publish content, run paid social, and build community.
• AI Marketing - build AI into the marketing stack itself; use agents, LLMs, and automation to unlock growth at scale.

Salary range: £30–60K + equity (DOE).
