Senior Art Director

Senior Art Director £80,000-£85,000 Central London Hybrid, 3 days per week in the studio

Our client is an ambitious creative studio that partners with global brands to create ideas people genuinely want to spend time with. Their work spans integrated campaigns, brand platforms, social-first content, film, experiences and always-on communications. Built around collaboration and exceptional craft, they're creating a studio where great ideas and great execution go hand in hand.

You'll work alongside Creative Directors, Copywriters, Strategists, Motion Designers and Producers to create integrated campaigns and compelling visual worlds across a wide range of channels and touchpoints.

• Lead the visual development of campaigns, content, social-first ideas, brand identities and creative platforms.
• Create key visuals, layouts, presentations, treatments, moodboards and design systems.
• Partner with Copywriters to develop integrated creative responses to briefs.
• Design and craft work personally, rather than simply directing others.
• Art direct photography, film and content shoots from pre-production through to final delivery.
• Present creative ideas confidently to clients and internal teams.
• Manage significant visual workstreams from brief through to delivery.
• Mentor junior creatives and contribute to the wider design culture.
• Help shape the studio's creative standards and visual capabilities.

About You

• Exceptional graphic design and art direction skills.
• Strong portfolio spanning branding, campaigns, social content, film and visual identities.
• Proven experience taking ideas from concept through to execution.
• Strong understanding of typography, composition, colour and visual storytelling.
• Comfortable collaborating with Copywriters and contributing to conceptual thinking.
• Able to lead projects and provide clear direction to creative teams and partners.
• Confident presenting work and building trust with clients.
• Collaborative, proactive and committed to high creative standards.

Nice to Haves

• Hands‑on motion design experience.
• Experience across brand platforms, campaigns, content and experiential work.
• Strong understanding of how ideas connect across owned, earned and paid channels.
