Little Frogs Nursery is looking for a caring enthusiastic and organised Nursery cook to prepare healthy, nutritious meals for up to 50 children aged 0-5 years.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking from fresh ingredients and understands the importance of providing balanced meals that support children's growth, development and wellbeing in line with the early years foundation Stage (EYFS) and current government nutritional guidance.

Plan and prepare healthy, balanced breakfasts, lunches, light teas and snacks.

Create seasonal menus that meet the nutritional requirements for children aged 0-5 in line with EYFS and government guidance.

Cater for individual dietary requirements, allergies ,cultural preferences and medical needs.

Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen safety.

Manage food ordering, stock rotation and budget efficiently.

Ensure compliance with Food Standards Agency regulations and food safety procedures.

Work closely with the nursery team to promote healthy eating and positive mealtime experiences.
