About the role

Reporting to the Head of IBA, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Insurance Broking Accounts team, ensuring client and insurer money is processed accurately, reconciliations are completed on time and robust financial controls are maintained. You'll also provide guidance and support to the team while building strong relationships across the wider business.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing the daily operation of the IBA team, ensuring workloads are prioritised and service standards are achieved.
• Overseeing cash allocation, settlements, receipts and payments to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
• Monitoring outstanding cash, aged balances and reconciliation items, supporting prompt resolution of any issues.
• Maintaining strong controls around client and insurer money and supporting audit and compliance requirements.
• Producing management information and reporting on key IBA metrics and performance trends.

Who we’re looking for

We're looking for someone with strong insurance finance or IBA experience who enjoys working collaboratively, developing others and maintaining high standards of accuracy and control.

• Previous experience within an IBA, insurance finance, broking finance or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of insurance transactions and the movement of client and insurer money.
• Experience completing bank reconciliations, cash allocation and managing outstanding cash items.
• Experience supervising, mentoring or managing a finance or IBA team.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to resolve financial discrepancies effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver against deadlines.
