Start Date: TBA
Salary: TBC
Type: Full time, Permanent - Monday to Friday.
With a company-wide ambition to outshine for our customers and partners, we are committed to continually raising the bar in how we work and what we deliver. Eclipse Power is a proud market leader in the UK energy sector, providing expert grid consultancy and delivering private network and microgrid solutions, as well as operating as an OFGEM licensed Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO).
We offer specialised technical expertise at every stage of the customer journey, from advice and support on initial project viability, to design through to adoption and maintenance and everything in between. Our strong reputation, skilled workforce, innovative digital technology, and established industry regulatory relationships underpin the service we provide, and we are passionate and committed to delivering safe, reliable and high-quality solutions for our customers and partners.
Our people are our most important asset. Rather than traditional company values, we have personalities, reflecting our belief that how we work and what we do truly matters. With a diverse talent pool, we benefit from many different ways of thinking. Our people have a strong work ethic, care for one another, and make sure we have some fun along the way.
The purpose of this role is to lead the efficient delivery of major projects (defined as Extra High Voltage which is up to 132kV) through our pipeline process, from award through to adoption. This will be done through maintaining visibility of the project programmes, managing and liaising with the Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) constructing the Extra High Voltage distribution networks to connect customers to our network.
The role requires effective communication skills to work with ICPs, Customers, Developers and Network Operators (DNO/TO) ("Clients") to enable successful completion and handover to the asset management team. The role will proactively liaise with clients to meet the Company’s goal of achieving the customer’s energisation date.
To enable effective delivery of this role, understanding and effective utilisation of our internal
Investment Process ("Stage & Gate") and project management tool, Monday.com are key. This team is pivotal in supporting the whole organisation to understand where major projects are in the process and keeping clients updated on the next steps required. This role will also be responsible for liaising internally to ensure the Stage Gates are met and responsible parties (e.g. Designers, Auditors, Finance, Legal, Operations) have completed their review processes across each EHV project.
You will collectively be responsible for undertaking a range of Project, Contract and Programme Management processes and activities to enable successful completion and handover of the project to the Asset Management Team.
