Advanced Clinical Practitioner Community Health

Locum Ready is looking for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care services across Atherstone . This opportunity offers flexible sessional work within community-focused clinics, ideal for ACPs experienced in autonomous clinical assessment and supporting urgent patient demand.

You will work as part of established clinical teams, providing advanced decision-making, routine assessments and urgent care support across a range of structured service environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering ACP-led sessions within community and primary care settings
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations
• Supporting urgent patient demand through telephone or face-to-face triage
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence
• Managing clinical actions including results, medication reviews and follow-up tasks
• Recording accurate and clear digital documentation

Requirements

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7)
• Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar
• Independent Prescribing (V300) desirable
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community health services
• Ability to work independently in varied clinical environmentsEnhanced DBS

Working Pattern

• Fully flexible shifts
• Weekday, evening or weekend availability
• Ad-hoc or ongoing sessional work depending on your schedule
