Following significant investment and a successful acquisition strategy, the business is entering a critical stage of its evolution. With ambitions to continue scaling both organically and through M&A, the leadership team is seeking a Group Head of FP&A to build and lead a best-in-class financial planning and analysis function capable of supporting a complex, multi-entity international organisation.

This is a highly visible leadership opportunity offering direct exposure to the CFO, Board and private equity investors. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, improving business performance and providing the insight required to support future growth and value creation.

The Role

Reporting to the Group CFO and partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, the Group Head of FP&A will take ownership of group-wide planning, forecasting and performance reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a single source of truth across the business, delivering robust financial insights and ensuring leadership has the information needed to make strategic decisions. This role will also be instrumental in supporting acquisition integration, enhancing reporting processes and developing scalable planning capabilities as the group continues to grow.

The role requires an individual who can combine strong technical FP&A expertise with commercial acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple geographies and business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and long-range strategic planning cycle across the group.
  • Own and develop the group's financial planning and forecasting models.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly reforecasts, providing clear insight into business performance and future outlook.
  • Produce board-quality management information, KPI reporting and variance analysis.
  • Partner with leadership teams across multiple business units to drive accountability and performance improvement.
  • Own recurring revenue metrics including ARR, NRR, GRR, churn and deferred revenue reporting.
  • Support Board, investor and lender reporting, including covenant forecasting and compliance analysis.
  • Lead financial integration of acquisitions into group planning and reporting frameworks.
  • Establish consistent financial processes, KPI definitions and reporting standards across the organisation.
  • Support the ongoing implementation and optimisation of Sage and associated reporting tools.
  • Build, mentor and develop the FP&A function as the business continues to scale.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO on strategic initiatives, growth opportunities and value creation activities.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Significant FP&A experience, including group-level planning, budgeting and performance reporting.
  • Experience operating within a PE-backed, investor-owned or high-growth environment.
  • Strong understanding of multi-entity, multi-currency and international group structures.
  • Proven board, investor and lender reporting experience.
  • Demonstrable experience integrating acquisitions into financial reporting and planning processes.
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Experience within software, SaaS, technology or other recurring revenue businesses is highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial judgement with the ability to translate complex financial information into strategic insight.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities.
  • Comfortable operating within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and acquisitive business environment.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join an ambitious, PE-backed technology group at a pivotal point in its growth journey. The role offers significant exposure to the CFO, Board and investors, alongside the opportunity to build and shape a group FP&A function that will play a central role in future growth and value creation. For an ambitious finance leader, this represents a rare opportunity to combine strategic influence, M&A exposure and operational impact within a rapidly scaling international technology platform.
