AI Functional Consultant

AI Functional Consultant – Power Platform / Copilot Studio

Almost fully remote with occasional visits to the London office.

We’re working with an established technology services business that is building a new AI function and looking for its first dedicated AI Business Analyst to work closely with the Director of AI.

This is a genuinely hands‑on role for someone who can bridge business analysis, AI and low-code technology — understanding real business problems and turning them into working solutions.

The Role

You’ll work with internal teams and customers to:

• Run discovery sessions and understand business processes and pain points
• Identify and prioritise AI and automation opportunities
• Build proofs of concept, pilots and demos using Power Platform and Copilot Studio
• Develop solutions using tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio and Agent Builder
• Translate business requirements into practical, implementable solutions
• Help develop repeatable AI solutions that can be adapted across multiple customers
• Work directly with customers, acting as a trusted AI partner from initial idea through to delivery

What We're Looking For

You’ll need:

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform , particularly Power Apps and/or Power Automate
• Demonstrable experience building with Microsoft Copilot Studio
• Strong business analysis and requirements‑gathering skills
• Experience running discovery sessions with users and stakeholders
• The ability to explain technology in clear, non‑technical language
• Strong documentation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills
• A practical, delivery‑focused mindset — you enjoy building solutions, not just writing specifications
• Experience in a client‑facing, consulting, automation or low‑code environment would be advantageous.
