Design Engineer (New Product Development)
London
At Shellworks, we’re on a mission to make plastic waste a thing of the past.
We're looking for a Technical Commercial Manager to help us scale Shellworks by building a high-quality pipeline of opportunities in personal care & wellness. This is a broad commercial role for someone who enjoys talking to and managing customer relationships whilst working on technically complex projects. In this role you will need to expertly coordinate with multiple parties internally and externally and creative problem solving, rather than sitting in a known and understood sales process.
Working closely with our founders, commercial director, in-house designers and engineering team, you'll help turn Shellworks' commercial signals in new markets into commercial opportunities.
This role is perfect for someone who can combine creative problem solving with commercial focus turning customer insights and market knowledge into measurable results. You'll have high autonomy, work closely with the leadership team, and the chance to shape how Shellworks enters this new growth stage.
As Technical Commercial Manager at Shellworks, you'll work in the below areas:
Studies show that women and people from underrepresented groups often hesitate to apply unless they meet every requirement. At Shellworks, we value diversity of thought and recognise that skills and experience can be built in many ways. If you're excited about this role and our mission but don't tick every single box, we'd still love to hear from you.
Becoming part of Shellworks means joining a high-growth company with the vision to completely transform the plastic packaging industry (and beyond!). Our world-class team includes experts in materials science and visionary entrepreneurs dedicated to creating a better future. Together, we're committed to ending plastic pollution.
