Band 6 - ICT Project Manager, ICT

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager in the ICT Department of West Hertfordshire Hospitals Trust. The role is to support the ICT department with a number of key projects., Manage projects from initiation to successfully delivery.

Establish project milestones and plans in collaboration with ICT Programme Manager, other project managers and project sponsor.

Plan projects which impact across clinical and non/clinical areas; e.g. delivery of new systems, new technical infrastructure or information systems.

Completes all user requests for project work within the specified time.

Oversees the installation, configuration and management of all hardware/ software of information system projects as assigned within the project timelines.

We are seeking a highly motivated PM with experience who is passionate and has excellent organisation and communication skills. This PM will need a good understanding of the NHS and come with a background of IT related projects.

This role offers significant experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and has insight into a diverse range of issues.

With a new hospital planned for Watford, work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital and plans for a neighbourhood healthcare centre in Hemel Hempstead, this is an exciting time to join us.
