Principal

Principal, Oasis Academy Hadley

If you’re a proven school leader who’s looking for purpose, passion but also the right platform to inspire and transform a community, then this might be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for!

Oasis Academy Hadley is far more than a school. As a large and highly successful educational village, we serve children and families from the age of two through to eighteen, whilst also operating as a major community hub at the heart of North London. Open seven days a week for approximately 350 days a year, we provide education, specialist inclusion services, family support, extensive community outreach and a thriving programme of community activity that reaches far beyond our academy gates.

We’re looking to appoint a new Principal and believe this to be an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished, mission-driven leader to take one of the most ambitious and distinctive all-through academies in the country to even greater heights.

Why Hadley?

• An academy that has a strong culture for inclusivity, social impact, learning and strong academic performance
• A rare opportunity to shape children’s education from Nursery to the end of Sixth Form
• An enthusiastic, caring and skilful staff team
• A school that serves a truly diverse and aspirational local community.
• Deep local partnerships and a shared commitment to social justice
• A prominent profile within the collaborative family of Oasis Community Learning

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a resilient, visionary leader who:

• Embodies the Oasis ethos and our 9 Habits, placing people and purpose at the heart of decision-making
• Has a proven track record of strategic leadership, consistently driving significant improvements in teaching, learning and pupil outcomes at scale and from a position of strength
• Can inspire staff, students, and families with clarity, compassion, and conviction
• Is passionate about inclusion, equity, and unlocking potential

You’ll co-design and deliver a strategic roadmap that takes Hadley from strength to strength academically, culturally, and socially. You’ll lead the development of a rich, community-responsive curriculum and foster a culture where every child can flourish.

What You’ll Get in Return

• Leadership Scale L33-L39
• A fantastic platform in which to thrive, including the support of a great team and collaborative network of colleagues across our group
• A strong commitment to personal and professional development
• Access to National Institute of Teaching (NiOT) training and Oasis-wide CPD
• Access to a range of Oasis staff benefits via our Reward Gateway Smart Hub
• Opportunities to shape and share best practise across our 58 academies and beyond
