Partnered with big brands like adidas, Samsung, John Lewis, Travelodge and Domino’s Pizza, we receive over 8 million visits per month. Right now, we’re looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to join our Digital Marketing team.

As our Senior Social Media Manager / Head of Social (Maternity Cover), you’ll step into a high-impact role driving our 2027 social media strategy and commercial growth. Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, you will lead a growing social team to translate high-level business targets into thumb-stopping, high-converting creative content. You’ll act as the strategic driver and commercial liaison for social media, balancing brand storytelling with revenue generation. In this role, you will oversee our organic presence, manage partner content fulfilment, guide channel expansion into YouTube and Reddit, and lead a talented in-house execution team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and execute our 2027 social strategy, aligning platform KPIs directly with commercial targets to hit our revenue goal.
• Directly line manage and develop our social team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
• Partner closely with Partnerships to identify, pitch, close, and execute high-value sponsored content packages for retail partners.
• Direct the social media budget with precision, ensuring maximum ROI across paid and organic efforts while acting as the primary point of contact for leadership.
• Regularly report back to the business on social commercial performance, engagement metrics, and campaign ROI, translating complex data into actionable insights.

Channel & Content Strategy

• Define and execute a bespoke strategy across our core platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), keeping our audience engaged while maintaining our target engagement rate.
• Guide our new Content Lead on launching and establishing our strategic presence on YouTube and Reddit to boost search and AI discovery.
• Oversee our influencer strategy, creator operations, and contract negotiations, collaborating with PR to amplify brand reach and sentiment.
• Maintain a robust social media crisis management framework to protect brand reputation in a fast-moving digital environment.

Collaboration & Execution

• Collaborate with Partnerships and Marketing teams to build a cohesive social calendar that supports retail partners across key sectors.
• Work hand-in-hand with internal Design, UX, VIP, and Campaign teams to deliver premium, on-brand video assets across business functions.
• Work alongside Paid Media stakeholders to ensure organic top-performers translate into high-converting ad assets.
• Spearhead the growth and engagement of our unique on-site community of code submitters, turning users into active brand advocates.

Performance & Tech Stack

• Act as the internal voice for social, educating C-suite and department heads on the value of social investment.
• Drive data optimisation using social listening tools and internal metrics to keep the brand ahead of algorithm shifts and emerging trends.
• Evaluate and manage the social tech stack (scheduling tools, CRM integrations, AI automation) to maximise team efficiency.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience: 5–7 years of social media experience in-house or agency, with a proven track record of team management and strategy execution.
• Commercial Mindset: Strong commercial awareness; you understand how social media drives brand reach, customer acquisition, and direct ad revenue.
• Hands-On Video Creator: Comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, with strong mobile-first video editing skills (hooks, pacing, Reels/TikTok formats).
• Leadership & Collaboration: Experience managing direct reports and budget allocation while working cross-functionally with Sales, Design, and Marketing.
• Influencer & Paid Awareness: Strong working knowledge of creator management/negotiations, plus a foundational understanding of paid social performance drivers.
