Discover International is partnered with a UK-based CRO is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager to lead the operational delivery of Phase I-IV clinical trials for pharmaceutical and biotech sponsors, managing cross-functional teams and study timelines from start-up through close-out.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end trial management for assigned studies, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
• Line-manage CRAs/CRCs, overseeing site monitoring plans and performance.
• Serve as primary point of contact for sponsors, providing status updates and risk escalation.
• Develop and manage study budgets, timelines, and vendor/CRO oversight plans.
• Ensure inspection readiness and compliance with ICH-GCP, MHRA, and sponsor SOPs.
• Lead site selection, feasibility assessments, and study start-up activities.
• Chair internal and sponsor study team meetings.

Skills & Experience

• Life sciences degree (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years in clinical trial management within a CRO, pharma, or biotech setting.
• Proven line management/mentoring experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, UK/EU trial regulations, and risk-based monitoring.
• Experience managing study budgets and vendors.
• Experience in oncology, rare disease, or cardiovascular trials.
