Freelance Social Account Director

A freelance Social Account Director is needed to support a client’s freelance bench ahead of major sports and football projects. The role will work across integrated and social-first campaigns for large global brands, taking significant ownership of client relationships and day-to-day project delivery.

Key responsibilities include serving as the senior day-to-day client lead for a dedicated project, owning campaign planning, and coordinating creative, strategy, production, and wider agency teams. The role will manage projects from briefing and pre-production through delivery, oversee integrated deliverables (including TVC, social content, and campaign toolkits), and manage timelines, budgets, scopes, and senior client expectations while ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple stakeholders and markets.

The role typically requires Account Director-level client service experience within a creative, social, or integrated agency environment. Sports experience is essential, with football experience highly desirable, along with experience delivering integrated campaigns across either social-first or traditional channels and the ability to operate autonomously as the sole day-to-day client lead. Hybrid working in London is expected, typically with time in the office and some flexibility, and projects may begin soon with rates set on a freelance basis.
