Investment Funds Solicitor | 2–6 PQE

We’re working with a leading international law firm looking to grow its market-leading Investment Funds practice in London.

The team advises fund sponsors, institutional investors and financial institutions across the full investment-funds lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure to sophisticated domestic and international matters across a variety of asset classes.

The role will involve:

• Advising fund managers and sponsors on the establishment and structuring of private investment funds
• Working across private equity, venture capital, credit, real estate and infrastructure strategies
• Drafting and negotiating limited partnership agreements, private placement memoranda, subscription documents, side letters and investment management agreements
• Advising institutional investors, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurers and family offices
• Supporting fund investments, co-investments and secondary transactions
• Advising on fund governance, investor terms, fee arrangements and carried-interest structures
• Working closely with regulatory, tax and other specialist teams

Candidate requirements:

• Qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales
• Approximately 2–6 years’ PQE
• Relevant experience gained within an investment funds or asset management practice at a reputable law firm
• A good understanding of fund formation, structuring and limited partnership law
• Strong drafting, analytical and organisational skills
• The ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet demanding deadlines
• A proactive, collaborative and commercially minded approach
