Our client is a technology services partner working jointly with a UK public sector customer to run an AI Centre of Excellence. The CoE has been up and running for a few months, the foundations are in place, and the focus now is on accelerating delivery and finding new use cases.
What you'll be doing as an AI Architect
Owning the AI roadmap for the software delivery lifecycle and turning it into a plan the team can deliver
Identifying and delivering new AI use cases, starting with quick wins and potentially extending into business and operations functions
Setting technical and architectural direction, working hands-on alongside the team
Leading and energising a small, distributed CoE team
Building trust with customer stakeholders and keeping the roadmap aligned to their priorities
What we're looking for from the AI Architect
Hands-on delivery of AI solutions, ideally applied to software engineering
Solution or technical architecture experience, with AWS a strong plus
Experience leading a client-facing team or Centre of Excellence
Strong communication skills and a proactive, high-energy approach
UK public sector experience preferred, but not essential
