Commissioning Manager

We're looking for a Commissioning Manager to join our Severn Trent Framework team based in Wanlip
Location: Wanlip
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
As a Commissioning Manager, you'll oversee and manage the commissioning process to ensure that all building systems and equipment are installed, tested, and operate according to project design specifications and client requirements.
You'll collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate a seamless transition from construction to operational use, ensuring all systems function efficiently, effectively, and in line with compliance.

What will you be responsible for?

• Overseeing and managing the commissioning process, ensuring systems and equipment are installed, tested, and functioning as per project specifications
• Developing and implementing commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures in coordination with project teams
• Conducting inspections, functional testing, and performance verification of mechanical, electrical, and building services systems
• Identifying and resolving technical issues during the commissioning phase, liaising with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the commissioning process

What are we looking for?

• You have proven experience in commissioning processes within the construction industry, including familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards
• You have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems
• You possess great verbal and written communication skills
• You have experience in developing and implementing commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures
• You have a thorough understanding of safety protocols with the ability to enforce compliance
