Are you an experienced SaaS sales leader with a strong background in the energy sector? We are partnering with a rapidly growing energy technology business to appoint a SaaS Sales Manager. This is a sales leadership opportunity focused on driving recurring revenue growth across existing strategic accounts while winning new customers within a specified market. The successful candidate will combine deep energy-sector knowledge with a proven track record of selling subscription-based SaaS solutions, leading high-performing sales teams and consistently delivering ARR growth, retention and new-logo targets.

The Role

You will lead an experienced sales team responsible for growing relationships within the energy market. Your remit will span customer retention, cross-sell and upsell, price realization and net-new SaaS revenue generation.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of experienced sales professionals.
• Own weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting across ARR growth, retention and new business.
• Drive expansion within existing accounts through cross-sell, upgrades and broader platform adoption.
• Develop and execute strategies to win new customers.
• Establish sales territories, quotas, objectives and performance expectations.
• Conduct pipeline reviews, forecasting meetings, 1:1s and deal strategy sessions.
• Act as an escalation point on strategic opportunities and support sales professionals through complex enterprise sales cycles.
• Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Business Development and senior leadership to execute go-to-market strategy.
• Analyze market trends, customer requirements and competitive activity to identify new revenue opportunities.
• Represent the business at relevant oil & gas and energy industry events.
• Continually improve sales methodology, qualification, forecasting and execution.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally combining individual contributor and sales leadership roles.
• 3–5+ years managing high-performing sales teams, ideally five or more sales professionals.
• Proven success selling enterprise SaaS, software, data, analytics or technology platforms.
• Strong knowledge of the energy sector.
• Demonstrable experience growing ARR and recurring revenue.
• A strong record of achieving gross retention, net retention, cross-sell and new-logo targets.
• Experience managing complex, consultative enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision makers.
• Strong forecasting, pipeline management and CRM discipline, ideally using Salesforce.
• Experience coaching teams around qualification, account strategy, proposals, negotiations and closing.
• Understanding of how AI and sales technology can improve productivity and commercial execution.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
