Corporate Tax Associate Director

Crowe Watson Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Manchester, as they search for an experienced Corporate Tax Associate Director to join their respected tax team, offering flexible working, a company pension, and much more. In this role, you will manage a varied portfolio of corporate clients, from owner managed businesses to larger groups, advising on corporation tax compliance, planning and transactions. You will work closely with Partners, lead and mentor a talented team, and play a key part in growing the firm's tax practice across Manchester and the wider North West.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Manage and develop a portfolio of corporate tax clients
• Provide proactive tax planning and advisory support, including transactions and reorganisations
• Review corporation tax computations and returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Lead, coach and inspire the wider tax team
• Support Partners with business development and client relationships

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax
• Proven experience managing and developing teams
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
