We make it, store it, move it, sell it, and mend it. We’re looking for a commercially minded Legal Counsel, Property to join our high-performing Legal team. Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Litigation & Property, you'll play a key role in supporting a diverse portfolio of property and infrastructure projects across the Centrica group. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex and strategically important matters spanning renewable energy developments, gas storage, hydrogen projects, commercial property transactions, corporate acquisitions and estate management. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, providing pragmatic legal advice that helps drive growth while managing risk. The breadth of work means you'll need to be adaptable, inquisitive and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities and build strong relationships across a wide stakeholder network.
We work flexibly in line with our Flexible First working arrangements believing that empowered colleagues are happier and more productive. The successful candidate will, however, need to be comfortable commuting to our Windsor office (until end 2026) and Reading office (from January 2027) on a weekly basis and to our other locations as may be needed.
