Finance Manager, Funds - Credit

Brewer Morris is partnering exclusively with a leading global alternative investment platform to appoint a Fund Finance Manager focused on their Real Estate Credit/Debt funds.

This is an opportunity to join a highly successful, growing and well-capitalised real estate investment business a significant international presence and a strong track record across real estate and other alternative asset classes. The role offers broad exposure across fund finance, portfolio performance, liquidity management, fund operations and stakeholder interaction, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of debt fund structures and investment operations.

The teeam are flexible but tend to be in the office 4 days per week.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the financial management and reporting of private debt fund structures and related investment vehicles
• Maintain and develop financial models covering fund performance, investor returns, liquidity and forecasting
• Prepare and analyse fund-level performance metrics, NAV-related information and investor reporting outputs
• Partner closely with investment, asset management, capital markets, legal and tax teams across the organisation
• Monitor fund cash flows, liquidity requirements and financing arrangements
• Oversee capital calls, distributions and funding activities across fund structures
• Manage lender covenant calculations and reporting obligations
• Support the preparation and review of financial statements and audit deliverables
• Assist with the implementation of new fund structures, transactions and operational initiatives
• Drive process improvements and contribute to ongoing operational and technology-focused projects
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on fund-related matters

Skills & experience required:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Experience within fund finance, fund operations, asset management or alternative investments
• Knowledge of debt funds, private equity, structured finance or other complex investment structures
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capabilities
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret large volumes of data
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders across finance and non-finance functions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Proactive, inquisitive and solutions-focused mindset
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-performance environment
