Accounts Senior – Path to Management | Flexible Growth

Accounts Senior – Progression Opportunity | Bexhill | £40,000–£45,000+

Are you an experienced accounts professional ready for your next challenge? This well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice on the Sussex coast is seeking a dedicated Accounts Senior to join their Bexhill team. With a strong track record of developing talent from within, this firm offers a genuine opportunity to grow into a future management role.

The Role:
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality accounts preparation for a varied portfolio of clients. While the focus is on accounts work, there may be opportunities to support on personal tax during busy periods. As you grow within the role, you’ll gradually gain exposure to GP accounts and develop your client management responsibilities, paving the way for a potential step into a managerial position in the future.

What We're Looking For:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified
• Strong experience in accounts preparation within practice
• Confident working independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Keen to progress and develop towards a management role over time
• Any experience with GP accounts or personal tax would be a bonus, but not essential

The Offer:

• Competitive salary circa £40,000–£45,000 (flexibility for the right person)
• Clear progression path within a supportive and growing firm
• Friendly and inclusive working environment
• Flexible working options available
• Excellent benefits and holiday allowance

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s ready to take their next step in practice, with the mentoring and support in place to help you develop into a well-rounded future manager.

Not quite right for you?
Opportunities are also open in the Eastbourne office, where the team is considering strong Semi-Seniors, Seniors, and even Managers – so if you're in the local area and looking for a new opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
