Associate Attorney, Tax - Leading International Law Firm (1-5 PQE)

I’m working with a leading international law firm looking to add an Associate to its growing London Tax practice. The team has a strong transactional focus and works closely with the firm’s Corporate, Private Equity, Investment Funds and Finance practices, advising on complex UK and cross-border matters for a mix of financial sponsors, investment managers, corporates and financial institutions.

The role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative and relatively lean team, with strong partner access, meaningful responsibility and exposure to sophisticated international transactions across the firm’s wider global platform.

The Opportunity

The role will offer broad transactional tax exposure, including:

• M&A and private equity transactions
• Investment funds and fund structuring
• Corporate re-organisations and international tax planning
• Financing and other complex cross-border transactions
• Working alongside transactional teams across the firm's international network

Candidate Profile

The team is keen to speak withAssociates, ideally:

• Strong corporate/transactional tax experience
• Exposure to M&A, private equity, funds and/or financing matters
• Training and experience within a well-regarded City, international or US firm in London
• A commercial approach and an interest in working closely with transactional teams
