Charity Solicitor (5+ PQE)

The firm

An established commercial law firm acting for businesses, institutions and private clients.

The role

You will advise charities of all sizes and their trustees. Work includes setting up and registering charitable entities, advising trustees on their duties and powers, charity mergers and transfers of assets, preparing policies and governance documents, and closing and removing charities from the register. You will deal with the Charity Commission, advise on regulatory issues, work alongside the property and employment teams, and supervise and train junior lawyers.

What you will need

Five years or more PQE with experience of acting for charities. Sound judgement, high quality work and an approachable manner with clients and colleagues. An interest in business development.
