Consultant Radiographer - Breast Imaging

The Consultant Radiographer in Breast Imaging will provide expert clinical, professional and strategic leadership across the breast imaging service, delivering highly specialist autonomous practice while leading service transformation, innovation, research, education and workforce development. The post holder will provide authoritative advice on complex clinical and operational matters, lead the development and implementation of evidence-based pathways, and work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary team to improve patient safety, experience, diagnostic performance and outcomes ensuring the service remains responsive to national standards, technological developments and changing patient needs. The post holder will have to travel between the symptomatic breast imaging sites at both Warwick and Stratford upon Avon hospital., The consultant radiographer in breast imaging will provide expert clinical leadership, advanced practice, and strategic development within the breast service. The post holder will deliver highly specialist clinical practice while leading service innovation, education, research and professional leadership in line with NHS and organisational priorities.
