Finance Manager

London Source: WhatJobs
£70,000–£90,000

Equifind are supporting a scaling, infrastructure-focused asset management business managing a portfolio of clients and assets across Europe.

As the business continues to grow, they're looking for a Finance Manager to join at a genuinely exciting stage, someone who wants to take real ownership of the finance function rather than simply maintain what's already there.

This is a business that's actively scaling up, and they're looking for someone hungry and eager to get stuck in: owning policy and procedure, improving systems, and helping shape how the finance function operates as headcount and complexity grow.

They're genuinely open to letting the right person guide them on what works best, both for the individual and for the wider team, so there's real scope to influence how the role and the function evolve!

About The Role

  • Preparing monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis across the client and asset portfolio
  • Statutory accounts, month-end and year-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and audit support
  • Producing regular financial reporting for shareholders and lenders, including covenant reporting and ensuring compliance with lender requirements
  • Supporting corporate governance, statutory filings and board documentation where required
  • Building and embedding robust financial controls and processes to support the business as it scales, and identifying where systems can be improved or automated
  • Managing and developing junior finance staff, providing day-to-day support, review and mentoring as the team grows

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience
  • Strong business partnering credentials, comfortable working closely with stakeholders across the business
  • Confident managing and developing junior staff
  • Ambitious and proactive, someone who wants to own processes and drive improvement rather than wait to be told what to fix
  • Comfortable in a scaling environment where not everything is fully built out yet, and where you'll have a hand in building it

*The role requires in-office attendance 3 days pw. Their offices are in the City of London.
