My client are looking to make the jump from Azure cloud infrastructure back to a predominantly on-prem based infrastructure. You will help lead in the new build of datacentres, new BC/DR, Capability and Resilience solutions, building a secure Network and setup of a new virtual (hypervisors) environment.
This exciting role will also offer the successful candidate the chance to build their own team.
You will act as the firm’s senior technical specialist and provide expert technical leadership across some of our most critical technology services.
Reporting to the Infrastructure & Cyber Security Manager, you’ll combine hands-on technical expertise with strategic thinking to shape our platforms, manage risk and ensure our infrastructure continues to meet the evolving needs of the firm.
You’ll cover On-prem Hypervisors, Azure, Secure Networking, BC/DR, Datacentre builds and Team Leadership.
Skills Required
Hands-on technical experience in a senior infrastructure role.
Team leadership experience managing a small team of engineers.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with new datacentre builds and virtual environments.
A solid understanding of the following; Hyper-V/VMWare, BC/DR, MS Azure, ZTNA, SSE, Firewalls, M365 and Storage solutions.
This role offers hybrid working - 2 days WFH weekly.
