Requirements of the role

Ofgem is on an ambitious transformation journey. Within the Digital, Data and Security Services (DDSS) directorate, we are delivering a broad portfolio of digital, data and AI initiatives. A key component of this is the Salesforce Centre of Enablement (CoE), which drives the development of Salesforce-based services that modernise business processes and improve data quality and service delivery.

As a Lead Developer (Salesforce) , you will play a critical role in shaping the technical delivery of Salesforce solutions across Ofgem. You will provide hands‑on leadership to development teams, setting standards, guiding design decisions and ensuring delivery of high‑quality, secure and scalable applications. You will work closely with architects, product managers and delivery teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, while fostering a culture of best practice and continuous improvement.

This is a senior technical role requiring deep Salesforce expertise, strong engineering leadership and the ability to operate across complex delivery environments.
