An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Professional Indemnity Lawyer to join an established legal risk function within a leading international law firm.

This is a varied role advising senior stakeholders on professional risk, claims, insurance and related contentious matters.

The Role

The successful candidate will be involved in:

• Professional indemnity and professional negligence matters
• Claims and potential claims
• Insurance notifications and liaising with insurers and brokers
• Professional and reputational risk
• Complaints and risk mitigation
• Advising senior stakeholders on complex risk issues
• Policies, procedures and professional risk training

The Requirements

You will be a UK-qualified solicitor with strong professional indemnity, professional negligence or professional risk experience .

Applications are welcomed from candidates with backgrounds in:

• Professional indemnity / negligence
• Professional liability
• Insurance
• Legal risk
• In-house legal or risk
• Other relevant contentious legal disciplines

The role would suit a senior lawyer looking to utilise their technical PI experience within a broader strategic risk environment.
