• Job title: Bank Specialist Speech & Language Therapist – Band 7.

• This is a bank/temporary staffing role , offering flexibility rather than a conventional permanent post.
• The role involves providing specialist Speech and Language Therapy to patients.
• The therapist is expected to assess patients, develop appropriate treatment plans and provide specialist clinical intervention.
• The position involves working with other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team .
• The role is aimed at an experienced therapist capable of managing specialist clinical responsibilities at Band 7 level .

Requirements

• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree/diploma or equivalent qualification.
• HCPC registration/licence to practise as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Professional membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) .
• Relevant post-registration specialist training , potentially up to Master’s level or equivalent experience.
• Significant professional experience as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Ability to undertake specialist assessment and treatment independently.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team .
• Good communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Current UK professional registration is required for NHS practice.
• Applicants requiring Skilled Worker sponsorship should confirm that they meet the applicable UK immigration and sponsorship requirements.
