• Partnering with Procurement and business leaders on commercially critical projects
• Presenting legal risks and recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance forums
• Driving legal innovation, process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Contributing across a broad range of legal issues, with exposure far beyond traditional commercial contracting

This opportunity is best suited to a lawyer who is already operating at a senior level within an in-house legal team and is comfortable influencing stakeholders across a large, matrix organisation.

Key requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor with significant post-qualification experience
• Proven track record negotiating and leading complex commercial agreements
• Experience supporting technology, IT, outsourcing, procurement or digital transformation projects
• Ability to engage, influence and challenge senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility
• Strong commercial judgement and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
• Experience balancing legal risk with business objectives in a fast-paced environment

Why Join?

• Strategic role with direct access to senior leadership
• Significant autonomy and influence across the business
• Opportunity to shape legal support for major transformation and growth initiatives
• Broad remit spanning commercial, governance, technology and business operations
• Supportive and collaborative legal leadership
• Hybrid working environment

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer who wants to move beyond pure contracts work and become a trusted adviser at the heart of a large and evolving organisation.

Please note, we are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with substantial in-house commercial experience and a proven track record of partnering with senior stakeholders on complex, business-critical matters.
