Operations Manager

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Lead overall factory performance, including output, quality, delivery, and operational efficiency
Provide leadership, coaching, and development to Value Stream Managers and their teams
Align manufacturing execution with supply chain priorities and customer commitments
Ensure consistent and effective production planning, sequencing, and execution across value streams
Promote a culture of continuous improvement using lean methodologies and structured problem-solving
Drive improvements in equipment reliability, uptime, and manufacturing processes
Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, engineering, and commercial teams
Support effective inventory and workflow management to optimise throughput and reduce delays
Create an environment of accountability, transparency, and proactive communication
Champion employee engagement, development, and inclusive team practices

For This Role, You Will Need:

Minimum 10 years experience leading manufacturing or operations teams in a production environment
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, performance metrics, and delivery commitments
Proven ability to lead through others, including layered team structures
Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a focus on sustainable improvement
Ability to collaborate across functions and manage competing priorities effectively
Familiarity with continuous improvement approaches such as lean or similar methodologies

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

Experience managing complex manufacturing operations or technical product environments
Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle or JD Edwards
Experience with structured continuous improvement approaches (e.g., TPM, 5S, or equivalent)
Understanding of safety, quality, and operational performance frameworks
Background in engineering, operations, or supply chain disciplines
