My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Flexographic Printer to join a well-established and growing printing and packaging company. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator to work with high-quality flexographic printing equipment, producing printed materials on substrates such as self-adhesive paper and film.
About the role as a Flexographic Printer
As a Flexographic Printer, you will operate and maintain flexographic printing presses while ensuring high standards of print quality and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities of a Flexographic Printer
Set up and operate flexographic printing presses
Mount printing plates and cylinders accurately
Prepare and mix inks to required colour specifications
Adjust machine settings including speed, pressure and alignment
Monitor print runs for colour accuracy, registration and consistency
Inspect printed materials and maintain quality standards
Troubleshoot printing or mechanical issues during production
Carry out routine machine maintenance and cleaning
Maintain production records and job documentation
Follow all health & safety procedures
Skills & Experience for a Flexographic Printer
Experience operating a narrow web flexographic printing press
Knowledge of printing processes, substrates and inks
Ability to read job sheets and technical specifications
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Good mechanical troubleshooting ability
Ability to work effectively to production deadlines
