Construction Estimator

Our client is looking for a Construction Estimator who brings more to the table than simply writing estimates. This high-impact role combines construction expertise, insurance restoration, sales, and negotiation to help homeowners navigate major property losses while delivering exceptional reconstruction projects. Compensation: $90,000–$150,000 base salary, plus commission and performance incentives

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Meet homeowners after water, fire, storm, and other property losses to assess reconstruction needs.
• Prepare detailed Xactimate estimates and supplemental estimates.
• Sell residential reconstruction and high-end remodeling projects.
• Negotiate scopes and pricing directly with insurance adjusters.
• Identify legitimate supplement opportunities and manage projects through approved scope.
• Coordinate with mitigation and project management teams for a seamless customer experience.
• Maintain accurate claim documentation, photos, and notes while meeting sales and profitability goals.

What You’ll Need to be Considered:

• 5+ years of residential construction estimating or insurance restoration experience.
• Proven experience selling residential reconstruction or remodeling projects.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and repair techniques.
• Experience negotiating with insurance adjustors and understanding claims, supplements, RCV, ACV, and depreciation.
• Hands-on experience with Xactimate.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
