Senior Solicitor – Private Wealth Disputes 7+ PQE

Staff wellbeing, investment in its people and close collaboration between departments are what set this firm apart from others in the market. With a family feel, a clear route to partnership and continued growth across its Dispute Resolution practice, now is an excellent time to join this forward-thinking firm.

The Firm

Join an established Top 200 law firm that combines the quality and resources of a large practice with the approachability of a smaller one. Named Employer of the Year and recognised with a number of awards for the way it treats its people, the firm offers a warm, supportive culture. You can expect tailored technical training, regular appraisals, a clear route map for your progression and reward based on what you contribute, not your tenure.

The Role

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced contentious probate solicitor who wants to do more than manage a caseload. You will join a close-knit Private Wealth Disputes team in South West London of two partners, an associate and a trainee within the wider Dispute Resolution practice, running a core caseload while developing a niche and building a profile of your own.

The firm is open to where that niche lies, with potential areas including the charity and legacy sector, international private wealth, professional and independent trustees, and the wider estate and trust administration market, including accountants and other advisers to families and trusts.

You will work hand in hand with the firm's highly regarded Private Client and Court of Protection teams, benefiting from strong crossover, regular internal referrals and joint networking events. For those with partnership ambitions, there is an established pathway to get there, with the support to build your business case along the way.

Requirements

  • 7+ PQE in contentious probate and private wealth disputes
  • The appetite to build relationships, referral networks and new business
  • Fresh ideas and the confidence to contribute to the direction of the practice
  • A following is welcome but not essential

Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive salary and generous benefits package
  • Established pathway to partnership for the right candidate
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 from home
  • Flexibility to work from other offices across the firm's network
