Project Oversight & Delivery
Provide oversight of project portfolios to ensure delivery against scope, time, quality, and budget.
Work closely with project managers, consultants, and stakeholders to remove delivery obstacles.
Ensure consistency in project governance, reporting, and operational standards.
Monitor risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
Resource & Staff Utilisation
Own and manage staff utilisation planning to maximise productivity and profitability.
Balance demand, capacity, and skills across current and future projects.
Use data and insights to forecast resource needs and support business growth.
Operational & Strategic Management
Translate business strategy into operational plans and execution.
Continuously improve operational processes, systems, and controls.
Support senior leadership with operational reporting, insights, and recommendations.
Contribute to long-term planning in preparation for progression to Operations Director.
Technology, Data & Systems
Demonstrate strong understanding of data-driven decision-making.
Leverage operational data, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor performance.
Work effectively with enterprise technology platforms, including our proprietary software (Maextro on premise and Maextro cloud), SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
External and internal collaboration with functional & technical teams to optimise the use of systems, tools, and automation.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Proven experience in an operations management or senior delivery role with an SAP background.
Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Experience overseeing multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
Experience overseeing support for existing customers.
Demonstrated ability to manage and optimise staff utilisation.
Solid understanding of data, reporting tools, and operational metrics.
Working knowledge of enterprise technology environments.
Experience with or strong understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Desirable
Background in consulting or professional services environments.
Experience contributing to or leading operational strategy.
Familiarity with SAP ecosystems, data platforms, or digital transformation initiatives.
