Groundworks Project Manager / Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Groundworks Project Manager / Supervisor to join a construction company on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing two or more groundworks projects across London , ensuring that works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise multiple groundworks projects simultaneously.
• Visit sites regularly and monitor progress, quality and productivity.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and plant.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programmes.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, quantity surveyors and other contractors.
• Monitor labour, materials and plant requirements.
• Identify and resolve site issues quickly and effectively.
• Ensure all works comply with health & safety requirements.
• Complete site reports, progress updates and relevant paperwork.
• Assist with planning and programming upcoming works.
• Monitor project costs and minimise unnecessary expenditure.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Experience & Requirements

• Proven experience in groundworks and civil engineering .
• Previous experience managing or supervising multiple sites/projects .
• Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations, concrete, utilities, roads, slabs and associated groundworks.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Good understanding of health & safety requirements.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively.
• Full UK driving licence.
• SMSTS/SSSTS and relevant site qualifications preferred.
• CSCS card and relevant groundworks experience required.
