The opportunity
At Focus Group, we power the digital workplace for over 30,000 UK businesses. With a £1bn valuation and 1,300+ employees across 20 offices, we're not slowing down and neither are our top BDMs.
As a BDM you'll own a protected territory and control the full sales cycle from self-generated prospecting through to close selling our complete technology stack (AI, IT, Cyber Security, Telecoms, Mobile) to SME and mid-market businesses. This is 360° ownership: you build the pipeline and you run the deal, with the chance to cross-sell and grow accounts.

Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting: Research propsective customers and run outbound campaigns (cold calling, LinkedIn, email) to turn cold prospects into opportunities.
- Consultative selling: Run discovery calls and face-to-face meetings; present tailored solutions that solve real business problems.
- Closing deals: Navigate complex full B2B cycles with multiple stakeholders, handle objections, and close through value.
- Account growth: Cross-sell, upsell, and generate referrals to build long-term strategic partnerships.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

What we're looking for
- Proven B2B sales experience. Complex or solution-based selling.
- A hunter mentality. Energised by cold outreach, high growth, new accounts, and winning from scratch.
- Resilience and autonomy. You take full ownership of your results with a structured and strategic approuch.

Job Benefits
- Base salary: Depending on experience & target level
- Car Allowance: £400pcm (£4,800pa)
- Real earning potential: No thresholds or limits – Industry Leading GP commission share + monthly accelerators
- Year 1 OTE: £55k–65k I Year 2–3 OTE: £70k–80k | Top performers: £100k+
