Are you an inspirational, compassionate and ambitious school leader ready to lead a truly inclusive, community-focused primary school?

Riverside Primary School is a two-form entry primary with nursery provision, proud to be a fully inclusive school community with two integrated resourced provisions supporting children with Education, Health and Care Plans for autism and visual impairment. Our commitment to inclusion has been recognised through our Inclusion Quality Mark Flagship status, and we are an OPAL Platinum Award school and a Platinum Better Medway Health and Wellbeing Award holder.

Ofsted noted: "Expectations of achievement are high, and pupils strive to meet these. Classrooms are settled and focused... Pupils are well prepared for the next stages of their education."

Riverside is joining Aletheia Academies Trust on 1 October 2026, and will retain its distinct identity while benefiting from the wider trust's collaboration, support and shared expertise.

We are looking for a Headteacher who will put children at the heart of every decision, inspire and empower staff, build on our strong inclusive practice, and develop strong relationships with children, staff, families, governors and the wider community.

Aletheia Academies Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and other relevant employment checks.
