Banking Solicitor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced banking lawyer at Senior Associate or Legal Director level to join a well-established and highly regarded banking team in Leeds.

This is an opportunity for a lawyer with an established career in banking and finance who is now looking for the right platform to take the next step - with a clear ambition to develop their practice, build on their client relationships and ultimately progress towards partnership .

The opportunity

You will join a stable, long-established banking team with an excellent breadth of work and an established client base.

The practice covers a wide range of banking and finance matters, including:

• Real Estate Finance (REF)
• Development Finance
• Healthcare Finance
• Leveraged Finance
• Wider corporate and commercial banking matters

The role offers genuine scope to develop your own profile within the team, take a leading role on significant transactions and play an important part in the continued growth of the practice.

For the right individual, this is more than simply a senior fee-earning position. It is an opportunity to build towards a future leadership and partnership role , supported by an established platform and experienced colleagues.

About you

We're looking for a Senior Associate or Legal Director-level banking lawyer with:

• A strong and established track record in banking and finance
• Significant transactional experience and the ability to lead matters independently
• Strong technical and commercial expertise
• An established or developing client following and a genuine interest in business development
• The ambition to build a broader practice and progress towards partnership
• The confidence and seniority to contribute to the strategic development of the team

You may already be operating at Legal Director level, or be a Senior Associate who feels ready for a role with greater autonomy, visibility and a clearer route to partnership.
