Nursery Room Leader

Location: Chorlton, Manchester (M21)

Position: Nursery Room Leader (Toddler or Preschool Room)

Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Salary: £15.75 - £16.83 per hour

About the Role:

A thriving, community-focused nursery in Chorlton (M21) is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Room Leader. You will lead a dedicated team of practitioners, ensuring the room runs smoothly and that every child receives exceptional care and early education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and support a small team of nursery practitioners.
• Oversee room planning, observations, and developmental assessments.
• Foster strong partnerships with parents and oversee transition processes.
• Maintain strict adherence to safeguarding, health & safety, and EYFS guidelines.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification (or higher).
• Proven experience working as a Senior Practitioner or Room Leader in a nursery setting.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
