£140,000–£190,000

A business is now seeking a Head of Product Management to lead product strategy and execution ahead of a major second-generation product launch planned for early 2027.

The Role

You will take overall ownership of product strategy, roadmap, prioritisation, packaging, and execution. You will lead a team of four Product Managers and work closely with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Commercial, and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Define and own product strategy, positioning, priorities, and roadmap.
  • Lead the scope, prioritisation, and delivery of the next major product release.
  • Develop product packaging and pricing in partnership with the commercial team.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Product Management team.
  • Establish effective product processes across discovery, requirements, specifications, and release management.
  • Develop evaluation frameworks and quality standards for AI-powered product features.
  • Determine where AI can operate autonomously and where human oversight or approval is required.
  • Work directly with enterprise customers to understand needs and translate market feedback into product decisions.
  • Partner closely with senior Engineering leadership on technical feasibility, sequencing, architecture, and trade-offs.

Experience Required

The successful candidate will bring:

  • A strong track record of delivering B2B SaaS or enterprise products from initial ambiguity through launch and commercialisation.
  • At least four years of experience leading Product teams, including hiring, coaching, and developing Product Managers.
  • Demonstrable ownership of product strategy and direction, rather than solely product delivery.
  • Hands-on experience building AI/LLM-enabled products, including considerations around evaluation, quality, cost, and latency.
  • Strong commercial and technical judgement, with experience partnering closely with senior Engineering leaders.
  • Experience in financial services, asset management, private markets, or a related sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Experience within a founder-led scale-up or complex multi-tenant enterprise software environment would be beneficial.
