Ford and Slater are one the UK’s largest DAF Truck dealers group with 16 locations from Norwich to Birtley in the North East, employing over 900 staff whilst remaining a family run business. We currently have a vacancy for a PDI Administrator in our fantastic DAF Dealership in Leicester.

As a PDI Administrator, we can offer you:

A salary of up to £26,437 (depending on your experience as an Administrator)

Who are we looking for as a PDI Administrator:

Ideally you will have previous experience working within the Commercial Vehicle, Motor Trade or an associated sector as an Administrator or in a similar role.
Experience of generating invoices would be a distinct advantage.
Be a confident people person. Happy dealing with individuals, organisations and businesses at all levels.
Have an eye for detail with excellent organisational, administration and IT skills (Excel, Word etc.).
Full UK driving licence (preferred).

The PDI Administrator role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Greet customers in a friendly, professional and courteous manner.
Undertake general administrative duties to ensure the smooth flow of work within the PDI / Service Department.
Give repair estimates and price quotations and offer repair suggestions.
Complete and keep up to date the vehicle production schedule.
Progress chase the provision of work instructions, order numbers, registration numbers and delivery dates from Sales Administration.
Liaise and progress chase vehicles with VR and Bodyshop and highlight any problems or likely delays that may be encountered.

Working Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm (with a 1 hour unpaid break)
